Garden Waste Collection and Christmas Tree Disposal

Dear resident,

As we approach the end of this year’s garden waste collection service, we’d like to remind you it will soon be your last collection.

The last collections take place between Monday 24 November and Friday 5 December. To check when your last collection is, please visit the bin calendar page.

Please remember to put your bin out by 6am.

Preparing for 2026

We’ll be in touch with more details early in the new year about how you’ll be able to purchase your 2026 garden waste collection licence.

Christmas tree disposal

If you plan on having a real Christmas tree this festive season, it can be chopped up small and left in your garden waste wheelie bin for collection in March 2026, once you’ve paid for your new licence (please don’t forget to remove all decorations).

Alternatively, you can recycle it at a Household Waste Recycling Centre, or you may find a local charity willing to collect it for a small fee.
