Supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Embsay With Eastby Parish Council recently made a donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service.

“Yorkshire Air Ambulance would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all at Embsay with Eastby Parish Council for this kind donation of £364.00.
Your donation really is a life saver. It helps us provide a rapid response emergency service to 5 million people. On average, our crews respond to around 1,700 incidents each year-that’s nearly five missions a day across Yorkshire.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent Charity and receives no direct government funding. As such, we rely on the generosity of people like you to help save lives 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Thanks to generous donations like yours we have recently expanded our fleet to include a 3rd helicopter to act as a cover for when one of our two helicopters are down for maintenance. This means we will have greater operational availability and is another reason why your donation is so important to us, our patients, and the people of Yorkshire.”
