Information about Embsay with Eastby Pre-school Playgroup
Embsay with Eastby Pre-School Playgroup is a registered, non-profit charity, which continues to be run by a parent management committee. They are a member of the Early Years Alliance and received an ‘Outstanding’ judgement from Ofsted for the second time in succession in March 2022.
The Pre-School Playgroup was established in January 1967 by a group of like-minded parents who wanted to offer local children the physical, emotional, social, communication and intellectual development they needed. The playgroup provides a small, caring, friendly and inclusive setting which offers children a fun, exciting and stimulating environment in which to play and learn.
